The Tele-Care Centre is available 24/7 to provide health and social services information and answer client questions.

Visiting Health Services

Some health services available in communities are provided by organizations outside of the Health and Social Services Authority. These include:

  • Eye Team
  • Dental Team
  • Orthodontics

To Access Treatment Not Available in Tuktoyaktuk

  • A medical referral from a nurse and/ or physician is necessary.

  • All referrals are coordinated through Stanton Territorial Health Authority and the GNWT Medical Travel Policy applies.

  • The Health Provider will select the most appropriate referral site.
